The results are trickling back now... Some results please, and some don't, as it always is. Groan...
You know, I'd like to whine here about how unfair some stuff is. I'd like to whine about how our system is rotten, how things should be different. I guess everyone has their own story of woe to share.
Still, I suspect although most people do lament their grades, it always happens at all levels. Part of it is justified, part of it not. You can justify (somewhat) complaining about the human part, which is laziness, sloth, and all that stuff on your part (okay, okay, the teachers might have marked you down, but let's not blame them too much). Unacceptable is constant whining (which I do a lot =P ).
The thing is: now we're here. So what? Does not getting a couple marks more jeopardise your future? Does it mean much? Saya masih saya yang asalnya saya or some stuff like that.
The feeling of the moment, of course, is like a tsunami. That first time you see your mark, you get the rush. But after it... after time passes, it doesn't matter so much. It was a stop on the highway of your life.
Besides, it's not what you learn in class that's important. It's what not you learn in class that matters more.
So to everyone who screwed up somewhere, and to everyone who thinks the system is nuts, here's a nod in your direction. Enjoy life while it lasts. Take the bad with the good. You'll survive.
ps:
Incidentally, here's one of those very important things the examiners expect you to know, but don't bother telling you:
You must make sure that if you answer a question for one of those "pilih dua soalan" questions and decide against it later, you cut off everything you don't want. Because if you don't, he might just assume you wanted to answer. Actually, I'm almost certain he will, especially if he's a [expletive deleted] teacher who's out to sabo your trials... Okaylah, it did get the message across, but it's a bit harsh, don't you think?
And it's generally not 100% safe to 'pilih' more than one because it's up to the marker to decide what to except. There's no rule for any subject that they have to choose the highest marks. Technically, we HAVE been told to choose x amount, so if we do more, they have every right to take just the first x.
