Singapore's life
*Sweep sweep* sweeping the dust*
It's been a long time since mankind has posted here... Anyway, how is the life after A Levels? I am sure they have a lot to talk about their future universities and life.
For me, midyear holiday (one month) has ended two weeks ago. School reopens, and since then the teacher has been reminding us about the preliminary exam which will be held in August. My school is the only school that holds the prelims in August, other schools is after September holidays. It's rather suffering as the teachers need to finish the syllabus before the exam. Jo and me have been burning midnight oil almost everyday, although we know that it's not good for health, we don't have time.
That's all about exam. Very boring topic indeed. Anyway, I know Zhou Hou will be going to the United States on 31 August. I met him twice when I went back last month, and I just realised that he is now my ASEAN friend's classmate. In fact, some of my friends whom I know in Singapore become my secondary school classmates' classmates after going back Malaysia for JPA. The world is very small...
Rong Xiang and Wei Loong have finished their Matrikulasi also. I heard from Rong Xiang that he will be going Malaya University for Medicine. I can't imagine he will be Dr Ng next time. I met him last holiday also, still the same old Rong Xiang, can 'sing' very well...
Oh, by the way, Jo and me are being posted to another hostel since January this year. Haven't had a chance to announce this news. Our hostel name is National University of Singapore High School of Mathematics and Science Residence, or in short, NUS High School Residence. Although it is stated there NUS, it is not in the compound of NUS. NUS is opposite the highway next to NUS High School. But these two schools are very near to each other, of course. Most of the students who studied here will be going to NUS after their Secondary 4 (Singaporeans only have 4 years of Secondary Education) without studying A levels or Diploma. Hope you all don't mix up, and those who are coming to Singapore MUST MUST MUST tell me and Jo!!! We can't wait to see you all.
This is my current hostel. There are 12 floors, and we are staying on the 11th floor. We got the largest room among all the boarder's room, much much bigger that the usual one.
Anyway, that's all for this time. Hope to hear from the others soon.
