burning the midnight oil.....NOT

assuming that i sleep eight hours a day, i'll wake up at nine. then again, considering that it's sunday tomorrow...schedules go out of the window. i'll wake up at ten. no, eleven. heck, what about twelve..does that sound alright? yeah, twelve, unless my mom wakes me up miraculously.

ya'know, being teenagers...adolescents...youths, you figure we would wake up early. at least that's what they say. or maybe it's just me. to all you guys who stick to a regular schedule, kudos to you! it's probably good for health and longevity, gives you more spunk in the morning..yada yada yada. but there's something hopelessly romantic about staying up to the ungodly hours, doing stuff alone in the silent nocturnal air. maybe i'm exaggerating. then again, everything seems more...lucid and clear, especially my brain, which generally doesn't function well in mornings, and that's why i suggest they hold addmaths exams at 1AM!

well. this is probably not good at all for my acne problem. wake up possibly with tons of new aliens on my face, a sign of my body declaring war on me. sniff. why can't we coexist happily. sniff again.

anyways, congratulations to li hsien and yi teng...maybe they can post their winning stuff here.

and yeah...the humble postman may just be our saviours in the future, at least that's the main idea of the book THE POSTMAN by DAVID BRIN. there's a movie too, by KEVIN COSTNER, which i watched last week, and is three hours long. quite an epic. quite heartwarming and touching as well. check it out. it's a 1997 release. got swamped by TITANIC, which is the most profound crap i've ever watched. four(five? six?) hours no less.

there you go. a book. thought provoking stuff. better than what phoebe reads. (hehehe couldn't resist that jibe...)
midnight oil is gone. maybe a fire will occur. touch wood touch wood (which i am, incidentally...comeon, carbon is the same, isn't it..and since everything's made up of carbon..nvm, not kimia again)...good night!``morning~~
