i have access

this is a monumental achievement. for once, my posting has an audience (albeit perhaps five or ten people). however, i am content. i have access. MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!

uh. nevermind. the point of this posting is to remind you guys that spm is about 35 days away. which may lead to a lot of people wanting to stab me. yes, go ahead, wouldn't mind dying considering my pathetic trials results. i can't believe i traded the trials results for the olympics, particularly for the romanian gymnastics team. female, of course. no, no, no, don't get me wrong, it's just that they are so agile, dexterous, amazing, spectacular....and beautiful. :)

come on, you can't blame me for that. olympics is like once every four years. SPM is like once...uh...in a life time. Oh. Dang. that brings about a stark realisation about the importance of SPM to our lives. it's a significant milestone, a government contraption meant to cull the weak and feed the strong. look, we spend precious time to prepare for this thing. and it's just a piece of paper. but an important piece of paper. yet again money rules!! with money i could just stuff this blasted spm thing and burn it.

strangely all important sporting events seem to occur just before a major exam. olympics, world cup (PMR), commonwealth games..and more. considering that this year there isn't sports day, and the abysmal number of PJKs we have had for the past year, and that the sports centre construction conveniently finishes AFTER we graduate..and.. well, actually, a whole bunch of coincidences can be interpreted as a conspiracy if one is discerning enough.

well...life is what you make of it. instead of focusing on these negative aspects, we should look at the bright side....be positive...breath in the sweet aroma of life. think about it. if i didn't pass pts i wouldn't have known everyone here. sounds like the road not taken...we always think of what might have been, instead of really treasuring the things we have now.

guys...two months(one?) left. i feel really old. and rather pensive.and i don't have a camera(!!). some one please take tons of pics and send it to me..as a snapshot of my life. and yours. and everyone's.

think about it...two months left. treasure it while it lasts.

It's me...

Harlow Harlow ppl.....very pleased as i finally get to post a message...ahahaha....well, TP, i understand how u feel bout da moral thingie but if i'm not mistaken, i tink he did tell us bout write only the question u want to do. Well, he only tells n didn't warn us. ahhaha...after all, we hardly listen to him in class right??? so he might have told us while we were busy wif our own stuff. Niwayz, the other subjects allow u to do as many questions as u like but they WILL *i repeat they WILL* (or shud i say they must) choose the higher score.

Well, it's only the trials right? Don't bother too much bout trials scores coz it's so unimportant. The great trial is SPM right??? Yeah....trials only important if u wanna go college earlier.....n colleges will accept u if u can pay them the fees....they don't bother bout ur results so much....*that's wat my tuition teacher says....i tink it's rather true.

Well, after all those nonsensical words of mine, Hello people....wat i wanna post starts here --> Arghh!! school finishing liaoz!!! it's only a few more weeks before we get our study leave n face SPM n be gone from that school forever!!! Aiyoyo....it's gonna be diffucult to part with friends but life still goes on after form 5 right...Yeah...people, i love ya! Don't forget me yar...*muacks muacks*

Hehe....me n my rubbish again....well, gotta end here. Cherish all that u have before it's all gone k......i mean ur time in school....

The results are trickling back now... Some results please, and some don't, as it always is. Groan...

You know, I'd like to whine here about how unfair some stuff is. I'd like to whine about how our system is rotten, how things should be different. I guess everyone has their own story of woe to share.

Still, I suspect although most people do lament their grades, it always happens at all levels. Part of it is justified, part of it not. You can justify (somewhat) complaining about the human part, which is laziness, sloth, and all that stuff on your part (okay, okay, the teachers might have marked you down, but let's not blame them too much). Unacceptable is constant whining (which I do a lot =P ).

The thing is: now we're here. So what? Does not getting a couple marks more jeopardise your future? Does it mean much? Saya masih saya yang asalnya saya or some stuff like that.

The feeling of the moment, of course, is like a tsunami. That first time you see your mark, you get the rush. But after it... after time passes, it doesn't matter so much. It was a stop on the highway of your life.

Besides, it's not what you learn in class that's important. It's what not you learn in class that matters more.

So to everyone who screwed up somewhere, and to everyone who thinks the system is nuts, here's a nod in your direction. Enjoy life while it lasts. Take the bad with the good. You'll survive.

ps:
Incidentally, here's one of those very important things the examiners expect you to know, but don't bother telling you:

You must make sure that if you answer a question for one of those "pilih dua soalan" questions and decide against it later, you cut off everything you don't want. Because if you don't, he might just assume you wanted to answer. Actually, I'm almost certain he will, especially if he's a [expletive deleted] teacher who's out to sabo your trials... Okaylah, it did get the message across, but it's a bit harsh, don't you think?

And it's generally not 100% safe to 'pilih' more than one because it's up to the marker to decide what to except. There's no rule for any subject that they have to choose the highest marks. Technically, we HAVE been told to choose x amount, so if we do more, they have every right to take just the first x.

3 Days Grace

Hur hur hur, trials are over =). And now we have, 3 Days Grace, before it all comes back like a 2 ton boomerang. So we have some regrets (should've checked my objective papers... augh... why did I waste time drawing the dumb sin (cos x) graph? Also proved that cos x! = 1 apabila x>6... Should've checked my papers... augh...

Anyway, lesson learnt (a bit late... 11 years of exams and I figure this out in Form 5). And time to shove the exams into the muddy corners of my brain for a while =)

I was looking at the website for my old Primary 6 class recently (the things I do instead of study). It's been around since what, 2002? but I just got invited since I hardly keep in touch with the people, only met one recently, who mailed me the invite. Well, it was... how should I say, EMPTY. Out of a class of 50+, I'd say at most 5 use the site regularly (relatively; even the form teacher has an entry o.O)

It's a fate I hope we can avoid here... post stuff, write here, keep in touch!! Remember!! But friends grow apart, go out into the world... *Sigh* This is a struggle against the inevitable, a defiant scream in the face of a bleak and predictable future.

Oh well. So much for weird prose. The site had probably 0.000001 entry per day, on average. It's an MSN group thingy. Is it the fate of this site? A dreary end? Ugh

Between leaving school and the SPM, I'd say the heat's being cranked up on our lives (incidentally, I had the fan off... =P)...

Oh well. One weekend to cool down. Cheers, people.
